Exhaust Fans, Ceiling Fans & Heat Lamps — Joondalup

Bathroom exhaust fans, three-in-one heat lamp combos, ceiling fans in bedrooms and living areas. The kind of job that looks small until you find the existing wiring's not where it should be.

What I do

  • Bathroom exhaust fan install (ducted to outside, not just into the roof space)
  • Three-in-one heat lamp / fan / light combos in bathrooms
  • Ceiling fan supply-and-install or install-only if you've already bought the fan
  • Replacement of failed ceiling fans
  • Remote-control receiver replacement when the remote's died but the fan's fine
  • Roof-space cabling for new fan/light points
  • Outdoor / alfresco ceiling fan install (correct IP rating for the location)

Common jobs in Joondalup

Bathroom exhaust fan replacement in a 90s Greenwood family home where the original fan's seized up. Three-in-one heat lamp install during a Heathridge bathroom renovation. Ceiling fan add to a master bedroom in a Burns Beach build (no fan point originally). Outdoor ceiling fan install on an Iluka alfresco — proper IP rating for the coastal salt air.

What to SMS or photograph

  • Photo of the room and the ceiling location where you want the fan
  • Photo of the existing fan/fitting if you're replacing
  • Brand and model of the new unit if you've already bought it

SMS Tony 0415 966 469 with the photos and the rough location. Most jobs are a half-day visit.

FAQs

Why does my exhaust fan need to vent outside instead of into the roof?

Building Code requires it, and venting humid air into the roof rots the timber and grows mould. Old jobs often dump it into the roof — I correct that on every replacement.

Can you supply the fan or do I need to buy it?

Either. If you tell me the room size and what you want (just exhaust, or three-in-one combo), I can spec a suitable unit.

How long does a ceiling fan install take?

Usually 1-2 hours per fan if there's already a ceiling rose. Adding a new fan point in a room that doesn't have one takes longer because of the roof-space cable run.
